The Ed T. and Marjorie H. Malloy Foundation was founded in 1983 by Marjorie H. Malloy, Jane Black Kennedy, Joanne Black Jones, and Susan Black Tiger. The primary beneficiaries are the Orange County chapter of the American Red Cross, the First United Methodist Church of Orange, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Orange. Each year, the Malloy Foundation’s board may also approve grant requests to smaller organizations described in Section 501(c)(3) and Section 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954. Since 1983, the Malloy Foundation has donated over $6,750,000 to local charities.
